réalisé en 2006 à l'aide d'un appareil photo numérique ne pouvant pas capturer plus de 40 secondes de vidéo. Le film se structure sur 24 séquences du temps ainsi alloué. Une action est tentée chaque fois par le personnage, qui est fusillé s'il échoue.
Realised in 2006 with a digital photographer which can't videoing more than 40 seconds. The movie is stuctured on 24 sequences of this allocated time. An action is tried each time by the character, who's shot if he fails.

Un groupe d'amis nommé Maelström lors d'une répétition. Pour une fois j'avais une "vraie" caméra. Je suis allé les filmer sans idée précise de ce que je voulais. Ils étaient très concentrés car ils apprenaient à jouer un nouveau morceau, qui n'est pas celui que vous entendez. Et voilà le résultat.
A rock band of friends named Maelström at the time of a training session. For once, i got a "real" camera. So i went to film them, without any precise idea about what i could do with. They were really concentrated because learning to play a new song, which is not the one you hear. And here is the result.

b) 9 plaques de bois laquées noir suspendues à 10cm du mur et écartées de 8cm les unes des autres. Le contour de mon ombre posant le doigt sur la surface a auparavant été creusée dans le bois. La surface où le doigt touchait à la plaque est restée lisse. ~ 180x120 cm. (2005)

d) Lingot d'1,5l de peinture acrylique. (2006)
e) Masque de gorille et cage à oiseau.
Une enceinte et un micro sont dissimulés dans le masque. L'enceinte est reliée à une pédale d'effet, de sorte a reproduire en écho les paroles prononcées face à la cage.
Des graines à chanter ainsi que de l'eau sont dans les mangeoires. (2006)

b) 9 plates of wood enamelled in black suspended 10cm from the wall and drawn aside from 8cm each others. The contourn of my shade posing the finger on surface was dug before in wood. The surface where the finger touched with the plate remained smooth. ~ 180x120 cm. (2005)
c) "Optical to laugh". Luminous box. ~75x50 cm (2006)
d) Ingot made of 1,5l of acrylic paint (2006)
e) Mask gorilla and bird cage. A speaker and a microphone are dissimulated in the mask. The speaker is connected to an effects machine, in order to reproduce with an echo the words pronounced facing to the cage. Seeds to sing and water are in the mangers.

Un diaporama créé à partir d'un procédé simple: prendre une photo, la passer sur l'ordinateur, la reprendre en photo à l'écran, repasser cette photo sur l'ordi, la reprendre en photo... et recommencer le processus encore et encore .
A diporama based on a simple process: take a picture, put it in a computer, photograph the picture on screen, then put it in the computer, then photograph it again... and start the process again and again.

Désolé pour la non-qualité de l'image et du son, tout a été filmé avec un vieil appareil photo numérique.
Le nightclub a été installé à General Public, une gallerie indépendante du centre de Berlin, dans un espace d'environ 6m carrés servant généralement de cabine de monstration. Un vestiare faisant environ 3 fois la taille de cet espace ainsi qu'un bar ont été installés à proximité. Enfin, l'espace d'exposition habituel a été laissé entièrement vide mais éclairé et ouvert. De nombreux flyers ont été distribués durant la semaine précédent l'évènement, l'entrée était gratuite et ouverte à tous durant toute la nuit. L'installation est ensuite restée visitable quelques jours, cette vidéo ainsi que des photos venant documenter l'évènement.

The nightclub was in General Public, an independant galery in the center of Berlin, in a 6 square-metters space, which is usually a cabin to exhibit. A dressroom which was approximately 3 times the size of this space and a bar were installed near from it. The usual showroom was entirely left empty, lighted and open. A lot of flyers were distributed during the week before the event, entrance was free to anybody for all the night. Then the installation has remained visitable for a few days, this movie and pictures documenting the event
